Network Analyst – £400 to £450 PD – Inside IR 35 – 3 months

Our long-standing customer that operates within the financial services industry is hiring a Network Analyst to provide second-line support for network-related incidents, requests, and changes, ensuring stable, secure, and performant systems across the organisation on hybrid basis situated in Chatham or Wolverhampton 2/3 days per week.

Our client is seeking a Network Analyst with hands on capabilities in Network & Telephony related technologies including Cisco, DNS/DHCP, VLAN’s, VOIP, VMware and Storage (Dell/HP Sans) but not limited too as our client continues their multi-site digital transformation campaign (Azure),

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide second-line support for business-critical network services (voice and data), ensuring SLA adherence.
  • Diagnose, resolve, and escalate network incidents and problems, ensuring stability and minimal disruption.
  • Support delivery of change requests and small-scale projects, following best practice change management processes.
  • Monitor, maintain, and optimise network performance, including routing, switching, firewalls, and VOIP.
  • Contribute to disaster recovery (DR), business continuity (BCP) testing, and compliance with security and risk policies.
  • Create and maintain accurate network documentation, collaborating with internal teams and third-party suppliers.
  • Share knowledge with colleagues to build capability and support continual service improvement.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience IT infrastructure environments, with at least 3 years supporting network and telephony technologies preferably CISCO is a must have
  • Strong knowledge of DNS, DHCP, firewalls, VLANs, routing, switching, and VOIP is a must have.
  • Experience with VMware, storage, monitoring tools, security technologies, and AWS/cloud services (desirable).
  • Ability to troubleshoot multi-site, technical issues and manage 3rd party relationships.
  • Experience of the financial domain would be highly desirable.
  • At least one industry certification (e.g., Cisco, Microsoft, Citrix, VMware).
  • ITIL Foundation (desirable).

One stage interview process via video to start / DBS and Financial Check in order to pass compliance.
