UX Research Manager / UX Researcher – Ad Tech / AI / VR

An excellent opportunity has arisen with a global brand for both a UX Manager and a Senior UX Researcher to join arguably the biggest name in social media. This is a new team and will focus on Advert Engineering however any experience with AI / VR would be great.

Role of the UX Research Manager / UX Researcher

The ideal candidate will be a senior user researcher experienced in working in technology and commerce, focusing on product research on business discovery, decision making and conversion. A proven track record of translating insights to actual product changes that inspire senior stakeholders is a must. You should have hands-on experience in conducting mixed methods research individually as well as partnering with agencies. Some experience of working with industry experts and C-suite in different industries is useful.

Requirements of the UX Research Manager / UX Researcher

·5+ years experience in applied product research
·Work cross-functionally with design, product management, policy, comms, content strategy, engineering and marketing teams to build truly impactful products
·Design hypotheses and lead studies that examine both user behaviour and attitude as well as larger market directions
·Generate actionable insights that fuel ideation and evaluation of our product directions
·Conduct research using a wide variety of qualitative methods and a subset of quantitative methods, such as surveys, analysing census data and publicly available data sets
·Communicate results and illustrate suggestions in compelling and creative ways
·Ability to ask, as well as answer product and user experience related questions
·Command of a broad set of qualitative, quantitative and user-centered design methods
·Basic understanding of quantitative, behavioral analysis and statistical concepts
·Ability to ask, as well as answer product and user experience related questions
·For the Manager post to have experience in managing a UX research team of circa 5 researchers
