Technical Support Analyst (Network and Telephony)

Organisation:
A leading organisation that operates within the financial industry is currently recruiting a Technical Support Analyst (Network and Telephony) on a permanent contract basis paying a basic salary of £30,000 + 12.5% bonus and work from home options. The chosen Technical Support Analyst (Network and Telephony) must have strong capabilities in Networking and Telephony technologies and be able to configure around DNS / DHCP / AD / Domain Controllers from a level 2 perspective.

Opportunity:
The Technical Support Analyst would be a Key member to support SME’s and Senior Support Analyst. Analyst Role will act as the second line of support for all incidents, requests, problems and changes associated to their area of infrastructure whilst also providing support and cover to analysts and Heads of respectively.

The role is essential to the organisation, and as the second line point of escalation within their area, this would result in involvement in project planning for future services as well as maintenance and upgrade planning for existing. More importantly to ensure that the day to day support and maintenance processes of technical systems and applications are efficiently operated and managed.

Core Responsibilities:
• Support Analyst specialism in technical functions providing support in the following areas: Network and Telephony.
• Provide support to SME and other technical engineers with the Fulfil incident, request, and change and problem remediation against the agreed service levels. In addition to ensuring providing expertise for project delivery is considered.
• Provide support to SME, Network & Telephony team to maintain and manage standards for the IT infrastructure and associated systems in line with industry best practice.
• Proven ability from a Network and Telephony perspective in SIP moves, office moves, branch moves, etc…
• Strong capabilities in cabling, patching whilst being able to troubleshoot and provide BAU support.

Technical exposure:
• Telephony exposure – Redbox, Payment System, Cisco Call Manager, IPFX, PBX, IP, Mitel, VOIP or Avaya
• Networking exposure – AD, DHCP, DNS, Switches, Routers and Cabling
• Support exposure – Windows Servers, VMware, Citrix
• Good understanding (of L1/L2 Level) of switching & routing protocols, and products like: HP/Nexus Switches, F5 Load Balancers, DWDM and IPAM
• Financial System exposure

•£30,000 basic salary
