Supply Chain Director – Healthcare – Gatwick
Up to £80K + £6K Car Allowance + Bonus
An excellent opportunity has arisen with an exciting healthcare organisation for a Supply Chain Director. You will be responsible for the planning and production of all fillable assets, purchasing of medical devices, maintenance of device portfolio, warehousing at distribution hubs and logistic planning to enable delivery of high quality services. Working within a highly regulated environment to a variety of ISO standards, GDP (Good Distribution Practices) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) to deliver a safe and reliable supply chain. Constantly challenging existing cost structure and bringing innovative ways of working with a focus on maintaining contractual KPI’s.
·As a member of the Executive Team, to work closely with all stakeholders to contribute and influence the strategic direction of the business, shaping the growth and development of the company whilst ensuring a robust supply chain pipeline.
·To challenge conventional approaches and drive change where and when needed, demonstrating commitment to creating a culture of continuous improvement and quality
·To drive operational efficiency across all parts of the supply chain, working with Executive team members to ensure accurate stock availability based on sales forecasting and demand.
·Responsible for creating the annual departmental budget , managing and reporting appropriately through the year demonstrating accountability for the effective use of resources
·To be responsible for safe and efficient production of oxygen assets
·To ensure compliance with all performance and regulatory standards (ISO, GMP, GDP)
·To develop a high performing team of managers and staff who work to key performance indicators and who achieve a high level of operational performance
·Ensure safe operational working practices as outlined in Corporate and Local policies
·Building effective strong professional working relationships with third party suppliers, corporate specialists encouraging an ethos of exceeding expectations over and above agreed or implied SLAs.
·Minimum 5 years’ experience at Senior Leadership level
·Extensive experience in a senior supply chain role managing operations, supply chain or logistics with proven track record of delivering excellent operational service levels and efficiency improvements
·Strong working knowledge of supply chain management principles, Lean implementation and warehouse/transport logistics software
·Proven experience in implementing and managing change with a strategic focus on best practice within the Supply Chain
·Proven ability to lead and manage complex projects within both timeline and budgetary constraints across the functional areas
·Knowledge of current Health & Safety and Risk Management Processes
·Experience in maintaining and working within ISO, GMP and GDP systems
·Demonstrable experience of leading teams both directly and indirectly
