Senior Project Manager
A global marketing consultancy is currently recruiting an Agile Project Manager who possess strong client facing capabilities who can steer discovery sessions, lead committee / governance meetings and have difficult conversations around budget concerns with large corporate businesses. This is a new vacancy for our trusted partner, which will involve setting up a PMO function and hiring junior team members as the company evolves.
The chosen candidate will have experience working within a billable software, IT services or agency environment managing a number of small / medium sized projects. Our client is looking to pay £55,000 to £65,000 (DOE) + quarterly bonus to be based in London 3 on a hybrid basis.
In this role you’ll be working on marketing automation implementations and complex CRM journeys. You will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring timely and successful execution while maintaining high-quality standards and client satisfaction reporting into the C-Suite members of staff working partnering with a number of highly reputable global brands.
Core responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation and management of CRM projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project objectives, and develop project plans
- Work with the Account Management team to effectively communicate resource requirements, ensuring appropriate utilisation and chargeability
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables, in alignment with client objectives and requirements
- Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns or issues, and managing expectations
- Oversee testing and quality assurance activities to ensure the CRM system meets business requirements
- Proactively identifying and leading initiatives that drive business value and continuous improvement
Core skill requirements:
- Proven client facing project management capabilities in software, IT services, agency or marketing company is a must.
- Strong capabilities in external client facing roles, in billable environments is a must.
- Possessing or pursuing formal project management certification (e.g., PMI, PRINCE, PMBOK) is a must.
- Knowledgeable of Agile methodologies is must.
- Proficient with Microsoft Project is must.
- Experience in steering committee and governance meetings is must
- Proven ability to manage stakeholder expectations and budget concerns.
- Experience of fixed price implementations and CRM tools is essential nice to have
- Experience of CRM marketing tools, Adobe, Marketo, Salesforce nice to have
