A global fintech producing powerful data driven enterprise level software products are recruiting for an experienced Senior Development Manager to manage the daily operations of a large .Net Core focused development team.

The teams work with a number of different frameworks, using emerging practices and paradigms and be developing products for both desktop and mobile platforms.

Role & Responsibilities:
Manage the day to day operations of the engineering team(s).
This is not a hands on coding role, however you will be required to get involved at code level from time to time to help educate the team on best practice.
Play a proactive role in proposing technologies, tools & approaches.
Identify and manage engagement risks and flag major issues early.
Ensure adequate process control.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Demonstrable experience as a Senior Engineering Manager /Head of Engineering with experience in managing large teams of mixed capability, providing leadership and coaching.
    Experience within an Agile environment.
    Senior stakeholder management skills.
    .NET, C# in a modern web development environment.
