.Net Development Manager, Software Engineering Manager

Overview:
A global fintech producing powerful data driven enterprise level software products are recruiting for an experienced Development Manager to manage the daily operations of the .Net Development team.

The teams work with a number of different frameworks, using emerging practices and paradigms and be developing products for both desktop and mobile platforms.

Role & Responsibilities:
·Manage the day to day operations of the engineering teams(s)
·This is not a hands on coding role, however you will be required to get involved at code level from time to time to help educate the team on best practice
·Play a proactive role in proposing technologies, tools & approaches
·Identify and manage engagement risks and flag major issues early
·Ensure adequate process control

Essential Skills & Experience:
·Demonstrable experience as an Engineering Manager / Development Manager with experience in managing large teams of mixed capability, providing leadership and coaching
·Experience within an Agile environment
·Senior stakeholder management skills
·.NET, C# in a modern web development environment
