Technical Project Manager – Implementation Project Manager – 6 Month Contract – £300 PD Circa

An excellent opportunity has arisen with a global consultancy for an Implementation Project Manager to deliver a range of application focused projects.

Role:
·The role is to manage a set of implementation projects from the point of contract through until delivering to BAU support for the service.
·The candidate is expected to follow the Implementation Service processes to deliver the end goal of the client being live through a structured service methodology.
·The role focuses on assessing the requirements from the client at the point of contractual handover and managing expectations on resourcing for the project internally, culminating in a successful transition and handover to operations of the client.
·The Technical Project Manager is expected to perform a dual role of managing the client project alongside the analytical work of the detailed data model and support the client in integration questions and resolution of these.
·Responsibilities include: project management / reporting, business analysis, requirements gathering, presentations, detailed data models, knowledge documentation, conducting implementation reviews.

Requirements:
·The candidate is required to have structured approach, organised and with attention to detail due to the nature of the technical analysis and the focus required to manage the client(s) efficiently through projects.
·They are expected to be able to manage priorities of external client requests vs. the needs internally and escalate where appropriate in relation to solution and process developments.
·They would be a fast learner and are able to pick up complex scenarios, understand them and seek practical resolutions either through client activity or through change proposals.
·A clear communicator is required as both internal and external meetings may require explaining detailed analysis in simple terminology.
·A mindset and approach to continuously improve based on experiences and feedback of the implementation service.
·Agile certified, PRINCE 2 and BA skills are all appropriate for this role.
