Business Analyst – Anti Money Laundering ( AML ) – Circa £65K – Remote / Swindon
Overview:
An excellent opportunity has arisen with a market leading Financial Services organisation, with a huge project pipeline! We are seeking a talented Business Analyst to focus on various AML projects across the organisation. Our client have a flexible approach to home working but will require occasional trips to their HQ’s located in Swindon.
Responsible for defining the end-to-end account opening onboarding process for all account types and all channels (branch, telephony,.co.uk, internet banking) to ensure that all payments and customer screening activity takes place in a timely manner. This includes Real-time screening, Batch screening, Payments screening.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Elicit, analyse, specify and validate the business needs of stakeholders
- Create Requirement Strategy, Requirement scope, Requirement Plan, Manage BA resource, end-to-end Business Analysis/Architecture knowledge
- Gather customer requirements via workshops, questionnaires, surveys, site visits, workflow storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and other methods
- Document the user stories and acceptance criteria, manage non-functional requirements
- Create as-is/to-be process maps, customer journeys
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies
- Work closely with the Architects/Technical stakeholders on non-functional aspects and participate in solution, feasibility analysis discussions
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Strong experience in process mapping
- Strong business domain knowledge of AML Screening
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills and experience to work well in a collaborative environment
- Have experience in JIRA, Confluence, Visio and Agile ways of working
- Have experience in requirement analysis and elicitation
- Deliver IT and business readiness
- Must have experience of working in a client facing roles
- Must have experience in working in a multi-vendor environment
- Experience in operational design is desirable
- A professional qualification in Business Design, such as ISEB/BCS modules or diploma is desirable
