Operations Director

Lauren began her career in recruitment in 2010 after spending three years as a researcher for the UK Border Agency.  She started as a Contracts Advisor and quickly took on a broader range of responsibilities.

In 2017, Lauren joined Intec Select, where she was responsible for developing and running the full Back Office function.  When Insight Select was formed in 2020, Lauren replicated this function, playing a crucial role in establishing and running the back-office operations for the new company.  Over the years, she has contributed significantly to the growth of both businesses and now manages a small team, earning a promotion to her current role as Operations Director.

With extensive knowledge of the recruitment lifecycle, Lauren is integral to the operational success of Insight.  Her team focuses on reviewing and issuing permanent and temporary contracts, drafting terms of business and NDAs, managing financial reporting, tracking budgets and P&Ls, handling invoicing, and addressing in-house HR queries.

In her role, Lauren combines strategic operational duties with hands-on client service.  She also provides critical support to the recruitment teams, ensuring smooth operations and efficient service delivery.

Lauren is an absolute pleasure to work with. We both worked together for just under two years in the Contracts/Compliance department assisting in managing the affairs of a group of companies with turnover in excess of £300m.
